We had a blast filming Amy and Justin's wedding. This was definitely one of the most unique celebrations we have captured thus far!! They started with getting ready at The Red Lion Inn, (Amy was in The Salon and Justin was just a short walk away in one of the Inn's luxurious rooms.) This venue is AMAZING. Known for it's country french style, warmth and boutique services, it is by far one of our favorite wedding venues in New England. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Dawn from Dawn Ryan Photography, who set up some beautiful photos around the inn and was super accommodating to us throughout the day! We captured Justin and Amy's first look by the bridge in the center of the property and loved being able to film both of their reactions when they saw each other. Then the whole wedding party took off in the Glasstown Trolley to take photos down at the beach. When they returned to the Red Lion, their guests started to arrive and it was time for the ceremony. They were married in the Lions Hall by Justice Elizabeth, who conducted a beautiful ceremony. One of my favorite parts was the wine box tradition, where Justin and Amy placed their favorite bottle of wine, along with love letters to each other in a "time capsule" box, that they would open on their 5th anniversary. This wasn't "just" a box, it was actually made by Amy's father out of old hockey sticks! Amy and Justin are both hockey players, and now coach hockey, so it was fitting that they would use the hockey sticks as part of their memory box :) After the ceremony, everyone went over to The Salon for cocktail hour while the Lion's Hall was being transformed for their reception. Brick Park Band provided the music for the evening- they were absolutely fantastic- guests didn't leave the dance floor all night! Filming this wedding was so much fun for us!! Amy and Justin- we wish you all the best, it was an honor to capture these memories of your special day. |
